No. The free Starter plan covers routes, service records, chemistry, invoicing, and payments with no time limit. Pro adds the tools that save hours as you grow — emailing invoices and service reports to your customers, QuickBooks sync, route optimization, and expense and cost reporting.

Yes — your first two months of Pro are free. You add a card when you subscribe, but it is not charged until the trial ends, and we will remind you before that happens. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing — you continue on the free Starter plan and keep all of your data.

The Starter plan is free — no subscription, no time limit. Pro is $49.99 a month, flat — not per technician, not per pool — and you can cancel anytime from your billing portal, keeping access through the period you have paid for. That is the whole of our pool service software pricing: $0 or $49.99. The one optional add-on is the AI Phone Line at $29.99 a month, which you can add or drop whenever you like.

Two ways, both in the open: the $49.99 Pro subscription, and a very small platform fee added on top of Stripe’s payment-processing fee when customers pay through the app. The rates published above already include both — Stripe’s fee plus ours — so the pool service software pricing you see is what you pay.

Direct Pay pools let you bill customers outside the app — check, cash, Zelle, whatever works. PoolTechy still generates and tracks the invoices (Pro can even email them automatically), and we charge no processing fee on those payments.

No. Every plan — the free Starter plan included — comes with unlimited technicians, routes, and pools. Pro is $49.99 a month whether you run 10 pools or 500, so hiring a tech or winning a route never raises your bill. Most pool service software pricing works the other way, charging by the seat or by the pool.

Pro is month to month and you cancel from your billing portal, keeping access through the period you have already paid for. Adding technicians, importing your pools, and transferring a route in or out are all free.

If you ever sell the business, our zero-fee route transfer moves the data with it.

By default it comes out of what you collect, the same as any card or ACH payment. Most contractors offset some or all of it with an optional customer convenience fee of $0–$6 per offer. Direct Pay pools have no processing fee at all, since you collect payment yourself.
